Why is there this revulsion towards mediocrity? Mediocrity is the background against which you judge excellence or utter failure. You only notice the brilliance or the pathetic collapse because there's the foil of mediocrity.
Plus there's the comfort of knowing that there are millions of people going through the same stuff that you are going through. To quote - "always believe that you're unique; just like everybody else."
BTW Dada, the last thing you are is mediocre. When the going gets hard here(and believe me it can), I think of the strength you've shown in life and I just pull up my socks. If I had to define you with a term, it would be 'unique'......'freak' being a close second, 'geek' definitely on the list, 'twit'- absolutely!!.....screwball, hmmm... :)))) :))
